Walk
of Life
A beautiful fountain begins the Walk Of Life.
The Walk of Life is a unique garden dedicated to celebrating the memory of our loved ones. The beautiful walkway consists of a water fountain, park benches and floral landscaping, shrubbery, and trees - a walkway where patients and families can come to reflect and to share stories, thoughts, and feelings with one another.
At this time, we are pleased to offer an opportunity for you to honor your loved one through the dedication of a Stone of Life. Each of the 300, 4x12 inch Stones of Life will become a permanent memorial in the Walk of Life and can be engraved "in honor of" or "in memory of," the name, and pertinent information of the individual being remembered. We are asking for a minimum
$250 donation for each stone ordered, a donation that will help 3HC continue to meet the needs of our hospice patients at the Kitty Askins Hospice Center and throughout eastern North Carolina. Just like the Tree of Life, this memorial will remain at the facility forever for your viewing at any time.
Please know that the number of stones available is limited to only 300. Unlike
the leaves on the Tree of Life, once the stones have all been dedicated,
no more will be made available for the Walk of Life.
Stones
are engraved three times each year with a Dedication Ceremony commemorating
your loved one to follow. For 2008, your Walk of Life order form must be received by February 12th for the March 12th Dedication Ceremony; June 9th for the July 9th Dedication Ceremony; or October 12th for the November 12th Dedication Ceremony.

of Life Order Form, attach your check or money order made out to "3HC, Walk of Life" and return to:
