Personal Care Service, PCS, is a fully funded State Medicaid program designed to assist medically impaired persons with personal hygiene and other daily living needs.  These needs can range from bathing, to assisting with ambulation, to meal preparation and feeding.  The great thing is that there is no cost to the client, or their family, in order to receive these services!

Who is Eligible?

In order to qualify for PCS, individuals must:

Personal Care Services are available Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm. A patient may receive up to 3 ½ hours of PCS per day, if medically necessary.

How to Make a Referral:

Making a referral for Personal Care Service is easy. Unlike many programs, anyone can refer a person for PCS. You can sign up a family member, a friend, someone in your church or community. 3HC will do the work of obtaining the physician’s approval for PCS; all you have to do is make the call.
