Home Health Nursing
Our home health nurses understand the need to maintain a healthy balance between the demands of medical therapy and a patient’s desire to live as normally as possible. Each nurse visits a patient’s home upon the recommendation of a physician, and while precisely following the physician’s orders, develops an individual plan of care as unique as the person for whom it is designed.
Through regular visits, our nurses establish a relationship with each patient while monitoring his/her medical condition and providing specialized care. They can suggest changes in routine to help the patient live more fully, answer questions about the patient’s care, and can train family members to take an active role assisting with many treatments and procedures – all while keeping the physician aware of the patient’s progress.
Many patients also need assistance with day to day activities like bathing, dressing, exercising, and cooking, therefore, we also provide nursing assistants for those needs, to make sure our patients receive the most complete care.
Along with our on-call staff, we are able to provide services 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
