Special Events
3HC hosts three annual fundraising events: Annual Golf Tournament; Mardi Gras Reverse Drawing/Silent Auction Gala; and Kitty Askins Hospice Center Angel Tree. The monies raised from each of these events benefits the terminally ill patients of Kitty Askins Hospice Center and 3HC Hospice Patients throughout Eastern North Carolina. All of our hospice patients have terminal illnesses, such as cancer, congestive heart failure, AIDS, etc., and have a life expectancy of six months or less. The success of our hospice program depends upon the monies generated by donations, memorials and fundraising activities. These funds help us meet the needs of our patients by offsetting the costs of medical care, medications, medical equipment, etc., for those whose insurance and personal finances are insufficient to cover their care.
In addition to these events and fundraisers, 3HC is grateful for all donations to our Hospice Programs. Donations can be made either online or by mailing your check, made out to 3HC Hospice, to:
