Kitty Askins Angel Tree
Christmas of 2010 marked the 3rd Annual Kitty Askins Hospice Center Angel Tree fundraiser. Handmade ornaments were created by diligent volunteers in the months preceding Christmas. The angel ornaments were displayed on the Christmas Trees at Kitty Askins Hospice Center during the entire holiday season. Over 600 ornaments were made, and donations totaling $8,481 benefitted the Kitty Askins Hospice Center Expansion Fund!
From October 21, 2011 through December 21, 2011, angel ornaments will be available once more in memory or in honor of your loved one for a donation of $10. Each ornament will be handmade and include an attached banner with your loved one’s name.
The angels will be displayed on the Christmas tree at Kitty Askins Hospice Center during the entire holiday season, or you may pick up your ornament before the holidays to put on your own tree or to give as a gift.
After the holiday, the angel ornaments may be picked up as a keepsake, or they may be donated back to Kitty Askins Hospice Center. Angels that are to be picked up will be available December 29, 2011 through January 6, 2012.
All donations that are made to the Angel Tree will benefit the Kitty Askins Hospice Center Expansion Fund.
