Golfers Get Ready for the 2011 Kitty Classic
Have you registered? It’s time for the Kitty Askins Hospice Center Golf Tournament, and spaces are limited. The tournament will be held on Friday, September 23, 2011, at Walnut Creek Country Club in Goldsboro, NC. This year’s sponsors are BB&T Insurance, Quizno’s Subs and Sportsman’s World.
Each year, the Kitty Classic grows, so we are once again hosting two shotgun starts at 8:30a.m. and 1:30p.m. Lunch will be served between start times.
Contests include special Hole-In-One’s; Closest to the Pin contest; and more! Tournament entrance fees include green fees, cart, lunch and prizes!
We need your help to make this event a success. Our goal is to raise $20,000 for the Kitty Askins Hospice Center Expansion Fund. Kitty Askins Hospice Center currently offers 12 beds to hospice patients throughout eastern North Carolina. The demand for beds far outweighs availability. The Expansion Fund will allow the Center to grow and serve a greater number of individuals in need of specialized care during their end-of-life journey.
