for Interim's
acquisition of 3HC's

WILSON, GOLDSBORO, N.C. _ Home Health and Hospice Care, Inc. (3HC), a
not-for-profit, certified home health and hospice agency headquartered in
Goldsboro, NC and Interim HealthCare – Morris Group, Inc./Interim HealthCare of
the Eastern Carolinas, Inc, licensed home care agencies headquartered in
Wilson, NC and Whiteville, NC respectively, have entered into a definitive
agreement to allow Interim HealthCare to acquire the Special Programs Division
of 3HC. The Special Programs Division includes paraprofessional
care and personal care aide services, including Medicaid Waiver programs,
private insurance and private pay programs.
3HC, celebrating its 25th anniversary, is a
comprehensive home health and hospice agency operating 10 offices and serving
16 counties throughout eastern North Carolina. 3HC also operates the inpatient
hospice facility, Kitty Askins Hospice Center, located in Goldsboro.
Dean Lee, 3HC’s President and CEO, states, “When our board
determined that we should focus our mission in the certified home health and
hospice arena, we sought out the best home care agency in the community to

HealthCare.”
Interim HealthCare has provided home care services for
over 15 years operating more than 10 Eastern NC locations. Margaret Webb, COO of Interim HealthCare –

All parties anticipate regulatory approval and closing
of all matters within 60 days.
