The mission of the Angel Foundation is to facilitate the fulfillment of a lifelong dream, or wish, for adults with terminal illness and a projected life span of one year or less. A lifelong dream may consist of any realistic request, which will make a significant difference in the individual's physical, emotional or spiritual well-being. A wish may consist of a family picnic, a special dinner or evening out, a short trip, or any other dream the patient might imagine! It should be noted that the patient's primary physician must sign a statement of eligibility and consent before planning can occur.

The success of the Angel Foundation is directly linked to the donations it receives! The Angel Foundation depends literally on a number of 'angels' who have been very generous with their services. The commitment of the Foundation is to empower communities and recipients to share in the joy of bestowing a gift of love.

The most urgent need of the Angel Foundation is financial support for general funding. The Angel Foundation carries no overhead - all administrative costs are contributed by 3HC. This means that 100% of all donations go towards providing wishes. Please consider making a contribution to the Foundation to help grant a terminally ill patient one last wish. The Angel Foundation serves adults living in eastern North Carolina. To submit a wish, a signed Statement of Eligibility and Consent must be received from the recipient's primary physician. Also, a signed, handwritten Wish Request letter must be submitted from the wish recipient, recipient's caregiver, family member or friend describing the wish, why assistance is needed, and how the wish would make a significant difference in the individual's physical, emotional, or spiritual health.
